Malus domestica Triumph™ - Triumph™ Apple

Triumph™ Apple

Malus domestica 'Triumph™'

Triumph, which is a cross of ‘Honeycrisp’ and ‘Liberty’, is ready to harvest in late September similar to or a bit later than its parent 'Honeycrisp.' It is an attractive firm fruit that has a pleasantly tart, well-balanced flavor that can store for up to 6 months in normal storage. It shows excellent scab tolerance with occasional stem bowl russeting. It is a consistant annual bearer with medium vigor and a spreading habit.

Triumph is the latest introduction from the famous University of Minnesota apple breeding program, which has introduced so many successful extra hardy apple varieties like Honeycrisp™.
